I’m not sure which is worse - that there are those using the Occupy movement to voice their opinion that they should be given handout after handout in life and not have to work for much OR that many opponents of the movement see it simply as a group of lazy hippies and are completely overlooking the amount of former working, middle class Americans who once were part of the “53%” and the “American Dream”.
Twitter appears to be censoring all #Occupy hash tags. I find it ironic that the Boston PD is trending, but none of the #Occupy tags are.
… and there are many.
Political parties, religions, educational institutions, and close-minded people. All parts of the system and key areas that allow it to continue operating. That’s not to say that you shouldn’t have views on important topics or want to acquire knowledge, but being able to think for yourself is one of the most important aspects of being conscious.
